Fundraiser - Children For Children
Why This Fundraiser?
As many of you know, Hurricane Helene has left countless families devastated. They have lost family members, homes, their sense of security, and so much more. Many families and children are displaced with nowhere to go, and this comes just as the holidays are around the corner. My heart breaks for these families and children—we couldn’t imagine the pain they are going through. While there are many fundraising efforts, we believe that every contribution can make a difference.
What Does "Children for Children" Mean?
After hearing about the hurricane, my son suggested, "They can have some of my toys—maybe we can send them." His generosity inspired us to act, but instead of sending his toys, we decided to design a special t-shirt for the fundraiser and donate the profit of these shirts to raise money for the children who lost everything. That’s how the 'Children for Children' fundraiser began.
Where Is the Money Going?
All proceeds from this fundraiser will support children affected by Hurricane Helene. The funds will be used to provide essentials like clothing and shoes as well as toys, books, and cherished stuffed animals that have been lost. Our goal is to send gift boxes to the families with children before Thanksgiving and if possible, again around Christmas. We are in contact with families and organizations in areas affected by the hurricane and will personally make sure the gifts will go to the children. How Can You Help?
